For fans of the first film, it's more of the same with a slightly different flavour. But its insistence on telling us absolutely nothing new – honestly, swap locations and characters and this and the previous film could become horribly interchangeable - means it’s much less of an experience, especially now that the shine has started to wear off this particular brand of dystopia.
